During lent and Easter we took part in a whole load of great activates and spend some time reflecting on the story of Easter in different ways.
In the lead up to Easter we had a lent walk with Wildside where we were able to learn more of the Easter story. There was also some time of reflection and a chance to toast hot cross buns on a camp fire.
On Maundy Thursday people of all ages gathered at St Mary's Church Uffculme to take part in a Pass Over Supper and simple service.
For Good Friday the church was opened up to children for a craft morning - they took part in wood work, card making, creating an Easter garden, collage and more. Some of the older youth helped with this and brought us a wonderful time of reflection though I sketch they had learned with Peter.
On Easter Saturday the young people gathered at the vicarage to learn about The Passion - together we heard some of the story and then carried crosses to edge of the village, ending the evening around a bonfire before out early start the next day.
Easter Sunday began with a baptism and a renewal of baptismal vows in the river before the Easter service at St Mary's Church.
